These unique fungi are not only delicious, but they also boast incredible medicinal benefits, including boosting brain health, enhancing memory, and supporting overall cognitive function.
Participants will learn about the history of sustainable fungi growing, log inoculation, and log care. The group will practice inoculating logs that will stay at Wanderwood, AND their own two foot section of shiitake log to take home.
Workshop will take place rain or shine. Tiny Acres will have dried mushrooms and mushroom tinctures available for purchase. Wanderwood goods will also be available for sale.
The ticket price includes mushroom education and discussion, hands-on experience with inoculation, and an inoculated log to take home.
Kiddos ages 5 to 12 are encouraged to join for FREE accompanied by a paying adult! (Please let us know if this is your plan when you purchase your ticket.)
