Learn how to make fresh pasta in this hands-on pasta making class with Crooked Spoon Co. You can stay just for this class, or stay and enjoy a fresh pasta feast with us following the class. Be sure to select the correct ticket type for you!

There are two options of this ticket to select; the Pasta Making ticket includes your educational experience. A Pasta Making and Dinner ticket includes your educational experience PLUS a beautiful meal prepared by Crooked Spoon Co.

Pasta Making Class Ticket: At this two hour hands-on workshop,  guests will craft pasta from scratch under the tutelage of Chef Samuel of Crooked Spoon Co using delicious eggs from Wanderwood’s organic farm. You’ll master techniques of kneading, rolling, and shaping various pasta varieties, learn about different flours, engage in lively discussions, and hear fun stories about pasta. Whether you're a novice or an experienced home cook, Chef Samuel's pasta-making classes promise a blend of learning and fun.

This event will not include nuts or shellfish of any kind. We will be working with gluten-based flours, so unfortunately, this is not a suitable class for guests with serious gluten allergies.

The Pasta Making ticket includes your two-hour educational experience, your prepared pasta packed to go, and some ingredients to make more of your own pasta at home! All tickets must be purchased in advance, and sales are final; we are not able to offer refunds.

This ticket is for the pasta-making class only. If you’d like to stay for dinner, please upgrade this ticket to a Pasta + Dinner ticket!

Pasta Making Class + Dinner Ticket:

Did making your own pasta work up your appetite? Stay after class and join us for dinner!

Join us for a relaxed evening of dining with Chef Samuel Emery and Chloe Chalakani of Crooked Spoon Co! This Thomaston-based duo will prepare you a luxurious three-course meal. You’ll start with house-made focaccia and a green salad featuring vegetables from Wanderwood’s farm - mere steps away from where you’ll be dining! The main course will be Chef Samuel’s famous pasta topped with aged parmesan.

For dinner, you will enjoy a bountiful three-course meal of salad with veggies from Waderwood’s organic farm, house-made focaccia made with Wanderwood honey, Chef Samuel’s famous lasagna, and a sweet treat to finish the evening.

If you are interested in attending only the dinner, please check out dinner-only tickets online at this link.

Crooked Spoon Co is a two-person culinary team of Chef Samuel Emery and partner-turned-sous-chef Chloe Chalakani. A native of St. George Maine, Chef Samuel spent his early years learning pasta techniques under Chef Melissa Kelly of Primo in Rockland. After attending the Culinary Institute of America, Samuel honed his skills in New York, Utah, DC, and Philadelphia, eventually helping to execute restaurant Osteria’s pasta offerings alongside Chef Jeff Michaud. Chef Samuel and Chloe are excited to bring their love of all things pasta back to their home in Midcoast Maine. You can find Crooked Spoon Co selling fresh pasta at the Rockland Farmer’s market on Thursdays and for delicious meals at the Waldoboro Inn on Monday nights.
