Hi! We’re Kelsey and Matt—partners in life, work, and the land here at Wanderwood. We’re your event + stays hosts!

Wanderwood grew from a simple idea: that the place you love can shape the life you want to build. After college, we found ourselves drawn back to Maine—the incredible people, the mix of saltwater and freshwater, and the kind of hard, satisfying work that happens outdoors. We started asking big questions: What if our days were spent growing food, building with intention, and creating a place where people could slow down and reconnect—with nature, with each other, with their purpose?

That’s how Wanderwood came to life: a working organic farm, a gathering space, and a home base for meaningful, joyful experiences rooted in sustainability. We grow beautiful organic food for the events we host. We welcome guests into comfortable, thoughtfully designed spaces. And we believe that celebrations can be beautiful and gentle on the earth.
